And What Becomes Of You My Love
So, I never update this anymore, my reader base has probably left. Understandable, and I didn't like you anyway. I just want to put this somewhere.

Monday night wasn't enraging. It was legitimately sad. It's been a long time since I've seen a Patriots game at halftime and said "they have no chance of winning this game". It's been a long time since I've seen them arrive for a huge game and get mauled like that.

That was the end of an era.

That was Brady and Belichick looking up at the scoreboard standing next to each other, barely exchanging words. If they exchanged any, it was probably along the lines of "I don't know what to do".I've never seen that before.

I expected them to lose. I also expected much more of an effort than that, I expected a very competitive loss. What I got was a team that simply was not even close to as good as the team they went up against.

My girlfriend said to me "I thought the Patriots were like the team to beat", I responded "they were". They were. They're still in that top third of the league, but they aren't anything above that anymore. It's sad for me. It's sad knowing that run of greatness is over and it isn't coming back. It's sad knowing my Patriots won't start every year as a legitimate Super Bowl contender anymore. It sucks. Kthxbai.
